Open to Grades 1-12

No experience needed, just a smile and willingness to try!

No guarantee all who audition will be cast

$20 Registration fee for all participants (if cast)

First rehearsal immediately following audition

Rehearsals will be every day, July 6-9, at Finley Gym, 10am to 2:30pm

Cast membbers MUST attend all rehearsals and performances

FUN & FREE THEATRE WORKSHOPS OPEN TO EVERYONE!!!

Acting Basics, Tuesday, July 6, 3:00pm, Grades 3-5, Socorro Youth Center (next to Senior Center) - An interactive workshop about acting, the Three C’s depicts with humorous examples and theatre games, the three basics of performance: Communication, Creativity and Concentration.  

Theatre Make-Up, Wednesday, July 7, 3:00pm, All Ages, Socorro Youth Center (next to Senior Center) - Without the support of visual image, the most talented of actors can portray only a narrow spectrum of characters.  Make-up is the foundation and the most basic visual image for all performers.  This participatory workshop teaches students of all ages by demonstrating corrective, old age and fantasy make-up.

Musical Theatre, Thursday, July 8, 3:00pm, Grades 1-2, Socorro Public Library - From simple sounds and rhythms to choreographed songs, young students explore how music can be used in theatrical performance (and just for fun.)
