Dracula the Musical?

ABQ Stages performs Rick Abbot's light-hearted romp through the familiar horror classic spotlighting van Helsing's musical battle against the evil Count!
Coming to Socorro, after a second-year run in Albuquerque by popular demand, Dracula: the Musical? is the treat you’ve been seeking. Take the classic horror tale of the vampire Dracula, add some of Albuquerque’s most talented performers, over-the-top humor, singing, dancing and audience participation and you’ve got a recipe for fun. Last year’s production was a huge success with sold out performances, and this year’s show is sure to be a crowd-pleaser.
Under the direction of J.B. Tuttle, returning cast members Jeremy Gwin, Erin Warden, Reni Roberson, Scott Fitzgibbon and Bryan Gilliland will be joined by fresh blood including Leah Tuttle, Paul Barlow, Zane Barker and Erin Moody.
Costumes are encouraged, as is audience participation. It’s not Dracula: the Musical? unless we boo and hiss when Dracula appears and cheer for the heroes! It’s also not complete without our “shameless product placement” for our sponsors. That’s right – our advertiser’s logos will be strategically placed on props at certain points during the show, so the audience can appreciate their support and we can show how much we love them. You never know when ‘shameless product placement” will appear, so stay alert!
This is the fourth show for ABQStages – a new non-profit theatre company in Albuquerque.
